BG 972 Moulded Square Edge | White | 2 Gang 45A 2 Pole Neon Cooker Switch
The BG Electrical Moulded 972 is a large plate white cooker switch with neon indicators, rated at 45A.
Part of the moulded square-edge range, the 972 is constructed to a standard design and so is a great value option for a variety of domestic and commercial installations. 45A switches are particularly suitable for use with cookers and so this is ideal for an affordable solution in kitchens.
This switch comes with two neon indicator lights, increasing visibility in enclosed or obscured areas such as underneath counters and behind cooker fittings. The switch is also double-pole to ensure both live and neutral current switching, protecting the user and the circuitry.
For 10mm additional wiring space, it can be fitted with the BG 817 spacer plate. The 972 is easy to install, with angled colour coded terminals, captive screws, fixing screws and installation instructions all provided – it can be easily retrofitted in backboxes 47mm in depth or greater.
As per the entire 900 range of switches and sockets, the BG 972 comes with a 25 year warranty for peace of mind. The switch is manufactured to BS EN 60669-1 to comply with national building regulations.
